Ben is getting weaker. He has to take breaks while brushing his teeth. His tongue , jaw, and neck muscles are getting tired when he talks. Heās slurring words sometimes. He occasionally has head twitching. His legs jerk in a ārachetā fashion when he moves them. He has had a constant burning in his head and spine for years plus a sense of pressure in his head and numerous other, scary, neurological issues. In light of some of the more recent symptoms, which are very worrying, we want him to be evaluated by a neurologist ASAP for conditions which might not show up on an MRI. ALS is one of them. We also think he should be given another MRI. Speech issues, weakness, twitching a jerking, are all serious issues individually, but collectively they are especially scary.
